DSEI Germany 2027: A new opportunity for Finnish defence companies

DSEI Germany will take place for the first time in Hannover on 9–12 March 2027, adding a major new event to the European defence and security calendar. The scale of the new event is already significant. The event will span 125,000 square metres and cover eight specialised areas, including Air & Space, Land, Naval, Cyber & Information, Joint Support Systems, Industrial Solutions and international pavilions.

DSEI Germany is also designed to offer more than a traditional exhibition floor. The programme will include a Keynote Forum bringing together senior leaders from government, the armed forces and industry, an Outdoor Dynamic Area and Static Display for live demonstrations and operational equipment, a Newcomer Zone for German-based SMEs and start-ups, and a MeetMe Lounge for pre-arranged business meetings.

For exhibitors, the value is therefore not only in visibility, but in access to the right people and conversations. DSEI Germany is being built to connect industry with European defence stakeholders, ministries of defence, armed forces and international partners.

Wulff Entre will design, produce and host the Finland Pavilion at DSEI Germany 2027. Joining a country pavilion can be a particularly effective way to enter a major international event. Instead of exhibiting alone, exhibiting companies benefit from a stronger collective presence, shared visibility and the recognition that comes with a national identity. For visitors, it also makes Finnish expertise easier to discover in one place.

Joint pavilion also reduces the practical workload of exhibiting. The overall concept, shared areas, coordination and on-site practicalities are handled by Wulff Entre as part of a larger project, allowing participating companies to focus more on networking and sales. There is also value in the network created within the pavilion itself. Especially in defence and security, where partnerships, supply chains and cooperation between companies are important, exhibiting side by side can open doors to new conversations and potential collaborations.

For a first-edition event like DSEI Germany, the Wulff Entre Finland Pavilion offers companies a practical way to test the market, build visibility and establish new connections with less complexity than going it alone. Our defense expert Salla Salonen can help you assess the opportunity and find the right way to participate at DSEI Germany 2027.
